welcome to MarketWatch 666

someone has to start this so we all dont spend the rest of eterity looking at the blank page; all members should have "new post" in the upper right hand corner of this blog or on your blogger dashboard, which is what i hit before i started this post...

you use that to start a topic or discussion...anyone can comment after that; to view all commments after a particular post, you hit the topic line above or on the blog archive, in this case "welcome to MarketWatch 666"

blogger is free & all invites and postings are handled securely by google's servers...there is no censorship & you can use links, hyperlinks, pictures, imbedded videos et al. in your posts...obviously, you're not committed to doing anything further if you just join the blog; if you dont join you can still comment but cant "post", which is the MW equivalent of starting a topic... if you want to post topics on this site, send your email address to myself or RZ; we have send it to blogger so you get an invitation to be an author....

even though ive set this blog up for full page comments, and 30 day retention of topics on the front page, blogger still leaves the comments buried under each article posted until someone clicks on the post, & blogspot also doesnt have threaded replies to the previous comments... RZ has pointed out to me a commenting software which was developed for wordpress blogs but which also supports blogger...

i aint figured out what it will take to use this, im just exploring & experimenting...

my problem right now is that i dont have enough time to work thru all of this information & still keep up my other site...i just hope to get this going & fade into the background...so we will bring you all on board to this blogspot, and then hope you all figure out how to use blogger & the comments features to keep it going...

we'll use this post for comments on where we want this site to go...

  1. I think this is a great start. true freedom of thought is what this is all about. we do not have to feel censored, or shoved into a corner due to tos. expression of thought and information is what will lead us forward. many great things have started in small ways. if everyone would just contribute a little at a time, who knows where this will lead.

  4. i should mention that you might get a browser security warning when posting comments; it only relates to the avatars used by commenters, which apparently are considered not secure...i always allow them....
