David McCandless turns complex data sets (like worldwide military spending, media buzz, Facebook status updates) into beautiful, simple diagrams that tease out unseen patterns and connections. Good design, he suggests, is the best way to navigate information glut -- and it may just change the way we see the world.

  1. This looks great but will it reach the right people - our teachers and publishers? Plus there are learners who learn best visually and this is really important to them. Keep in mind that my computer speakers aren't working so I watched most of this without listening to it. ;/)
